General Information
Action Summary On March 6, 2024 (89 FR 16202), EPA revised the National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) for PM2.5 (particles in the ambient air with an aerodynamic diameter less than or equal to a nominal 2.5 micrometers). Accordingly, on June 4, 2024, the State Air Pollution Control Board took final action to adopt these amendments.

Executive Branch Review This Action is exempt from Article 2 of the Administrative Process Act, but falls within the Executive Branch and will be reviewed by the Governor's Office.
