Purpose of legislation
To comply with the requirements of the 21st Century CURES Act (114 USC 255) by requiring that providers of personal care, including respite and companion services, use electronic visit verification systems by 1/1/2019. The same requirement will apply to providers of home health services by 1/1/2023.
