Purpose of legislation
Final Regulation: Chap. 71 (SB 1218, companion to HB 2287) requires DMAS to modify the FAMIS program to use single application for both Medicaid and FAMIS, to reduce the waiting period since private insurance from 6 months to 4, and to add coverage for community mental health services.
