Mandate Title:
Qualifications for assistant speech-language pathologists
Purpose of legislation
Chapter 661 (HB764) of the 2014 General Assembly authorizes a person “who has met the qualifications prescribed by the Board” to practice as an assistant speech-language pathologist under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist. The purpose of the legislation was to require regulations prescribing the qualifications and supervision of assistants.
