I would like to see the students to be able to start working on the medication cart after successfully passing the exam. We are waiting long periods of times for provisional license. I would like to see students have the ability to work as long as the information has been submitted to the BON for approval. In addition, we need to extend the period of provisional license to 150 days.

As a Senior Living operator in the State of VA, the length of time to receive RMA letters is leaving communities hurting for certified staff. to provide medication to our Residents. I propose allowing RMA's to be able to work o the cart prior to receiving the letter or ensure that letters will be received within 14 days of submission.
