The Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance (VTCA) represents more than 300 transportation construction contractors, aggregate producers, consultant engineers, suppliers and service providers who design, build, and maintain Virginia’s transportation network.

VTCA has 30 Aggregate producer members representing over 90% of all metal/nonmetal mineral production in the Commonwealth. 

VTCA’s Aggregate Producers offer the below comment relating to the DMME Public Participation Guidelines Periodic Review (4 VAC 25-11): 

It is the position of the Aggregate Producer Members of VTCA that the DMME Public Participation Guidelines (4 VAC 25-11) be retained in its current form. 

However, if DMME, pursuant to this review, determines it necessary to open a formal review of the Public Participation Guidelines (4 VAC 25-11) for repeal or amendment, VTCA and our Aggregate Producer Members request to be included as part of any stakeholder involvement and/or advisory committees. We would also like to be made aware of any comments received relative to this review.
