The Public Policy Committee of the Virginia Association for Behavior Analysis would like to thank the Department of Behavioral  Health and Developmental Services for updating the person-centered planning document to match the regulations.  We applaud the department for providing guidance that focuses on the individual while still maintaining the integrity of evidence-based interventions and data collection - key tenants in our profession's ethical code.  We do not have any recommendations for changes at this time.
