please define -"support the character, ability and fitness for employment"
Does this mean that we are to receive employment references as well as personal references?
It is very difficult and often impossible to get employers to complete a simple verification of employment with basic information. This would add an additional undue hardship to seek out these references, much less actually get them returned. In addition, it opens agencies up to liability of slander among other things that may result in a negative connotation.
