It is clear that these standards desire to do far more than encourage healthy emotional wellness, but intend to indoctrinate our children with Critical Rate Theory ideology. It is subtle in the early years, but it's way more obvious in the middle and high school grade levels when one reads the "standards" - encouraging an emphasis on membership in one's group (intersectionality), conscious and unconscious bias, curiosity about social problems and injustice. Our schools must focus on academic rigor such as reading, math, critical thinking skills and leave the activist ideology out of the classroom. We are onto you VDOE and will not tolerate this.
