Guidance Document Change: The 2020 Virginia General Assembly passed House Bill 753 directing the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) to develop guidance standards for social emotional learning (SEL) for all public students in grades Kindergarten through 12 in the Commonwealth. The Virginia Social Emotional Learning Standards were developed in collaboration with an SEL Advisory Committee, composed of educators, community leaders, agency personnel, and parents. The Virginia SEL Standards are aligned with the Profile of a Virginia Graduate and centered in equity. This intentional focus allows the Standards to explicitly teach the skills needed to be “life ready” and to create more equitable learning environments.

Hunter Gehlbach, Panorama Education and now Johns Hopkins University

Why aren't parents told about how money is a driving forcing?  Many children taking these psychological surveys have parents who are unknowing about the survey content and their rights to opt out.

Hunter Gehlbach and the SPiEE Lab at the Johns Hopkins University leverage social psychological principles to address social problems in education and the environment.

Back in 2014 while at Harvard Hunter Gehlbach joined Panorama Education.

VADOE needs an IRB process integrally involved in reviewing and considering any proposed  SEL standards before progressing to ask for public comment.  Not only is the content of the standards important but so is the actual school level process of teaching the "standards."  A consent requirement must be in the forefront so families of children can opt out of these medical examinations.  https://www.panoramaed.com/student-survey-questions

Good luck trying to find unbiased IRB members with the private, public, philanthropy  (Gates, Zuckerberg, Walton) ties linked together in the SEL movement.  The money and influence is immense when it comes to capturing millions of children's data and controlling the education field.

What data information is Hunter Gehlbach required to release to Johns Hopkins about what he earns in a year from outside sources and the details of those commitments?

My child did NOT volunteer to be university lab's psychology subject or manipulated in order to become data profit for the venture capitalist SEL industry.
