Indoctrination on subjective points such as those specified in SEL have no place in public education.  Parents delegate to the government schools that they fund the task of educating their children in actual academic subjects, not engaging in the latest social engineering fad.  It is a violation of parents' rights for government schools to seek to push on their children ideas that are not universally endorsed by society as a whole.
