Social-Emotional learning, Critical race theory, and all the subjects being pushed to students are allowed because parents stopped taking an interest in their child's education.  As long as the kid is out of the house or doesn't interfere with the parents going to work or their socializing, they're fine with what the school boards are doing to their kids. If parents want their children to learn to be independent thinkers with the skills needed to actually succeed rather than follow in good-step line, they better start getting more involved.
