It is about time for the VDOE to stop working on socially indoctrination policies and return focus to teaching skill and knowledge. These are areas that needs to be removed from the VDOE sphere of influence. I appose any policy enacting any form of either SEL or CRT. People need to realize that each individual is not a victim of his or her skin or other immutable factor, but rather a gift with potential to change the world regardless of their background. SEL has nothing to do with education, and as such should be stricken from the consideration by the VDOE.
