The implementation of Critical Race Theory

The push to implement CRT in all aspects of our education system, particularly in the curriculum, is a gross mistake.  Of course, the school systems are to consider how to best educate our children and the world they come from, but the premise behind CRT is that racism inherent in all white people and in all of our institutions and even our economic system. If it were 1955 I might be more sympathetic, but there have been a few improvements since then. Then there is Kendi’s philosophy about Anti racism, equity, and discrimination that is foundation to many of these efforts to codify and inculcate his perverse doctrine. This is no “micro aggression” it is just plain aggression. Kendi writes:  “The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination.”. Kendi has no problem with racial discrimination when it used to create his idea of equity. Implementing his ideas is malpractice by the VDOE and the school boards that execute it in the schools. It is clearly a civil rights violation for every White or Asian student who is given a dose of Kendi’s remedy. I could go on with my critique of this ideology and it’s implementation, but this enough with everything else being brought to your attention. I hope that the VDOE is sued and held accountable for aligning themselves with such a racist ideology.
