Society loses when individualism is overtaken by indoctrination and assumptions. Children need more academic education and less socio-emotional indoctrination. CRT is racist. SEL oversteps cultural differences and the rights of parents to teach values. 

While China overtakes the US in academic achievement and adopts harsh totalitarianism, Virginia seems to want to further weaken its academics, but follow in China's footsteps to regulate thought and prohibit individualism.  Schools need to return to focusing on academic achievement and reject CRT and SEL, which are unproven ideologies which stray from the core purpose of public school - academic education.
