From my 2009 research into propaganda and critical theory, I learned two things propagandists fear:  strong families (especially mothers) and agricultural social structures (Ellul).  Two things they love:  literacy and access to children (Lenin).  That's how Lenin, Mao, and Kim Il Sung, to name just a few, got children to snitch on their parents.  SEL is simply neo-Bolshevism masquerading as "standards."  There's no other purpose for it, whatsoever, except to regiment their little minds by method of standardized oppression tropes, memes, and newspeak.  It's an old pig in a new pantsuit, nothing more.
