Haven't we gained any wisdom? No to CRT in schools or anywhere else for that matter

I am the wife of a black man and the mother and step mother to black children who are in Fairfax County schools.  Horrified am I that we are trying to usher in every institution in this nation a racism in disguise as help and equality.  Equality never means putting one down to bring another up.  It never means vilifying a whole group of people based on a characteristic one cannot change.  Isn't this obvious?  Common sense?  Why the hypocrisy?  Avoid teaching young children that some are always the victim and others are always the oppressor.  When I look around at actual life, you can find victims and oppressors in every slice of life. That's what I teach my kids.  We are all capable of being in both roles! World history tells us that!

Whatever you want to do in schools, I'm sure none of these comments will actually stop you.  Same was true of the leftist agendas around transgenderism and gender identity. You used biased research to support your approach there.  And you ignore the comments of parents who voice valid concerns and are actually the majority. Democratic party line is the only way here in VA right now.  Critical Race Theory is emotion-based and divisive and an invitation for more discrimination, not less.  Leave CRT in the books and leave it out of the classrooms!
