I urge everyone to oppose SEL. I do not see this helping but instead causing more divisions. SEL and CRT are not celebrations of diversity, but they are the demonization of certain types of people, particularly those who are not LBGTQ+ and those who are white. It is pitting groups of people and different races against each other (particularly the demonization of the white race which is exactly what has happened in the past to the black race - how is that good?!). How is any of this progress? It’s not! Unfortunately, it is more systemically disguised racism. Stop the polarizing and political landscape in our schools and just teach kids what you’re supposed to - the three R’s - (R)eading, w(R)iting, and a(R)ithmetic!
