As the parent of a future 4th grader I can’t understand how CRT in schools would be helpful. Treat your students with respect, make sure they treat each other with respect, while teaching Math, English, science, history. That seems like enough work. Why are we trying to label people? Why are we Singling people out? Respect for one another and a need to learn the basics is what’s important.  I am relatively new to this area. I moved here because I thought that FCPS was a good choice but to be honest it wasn’t as great as I thought it would be. Now with CRT or SEL  I wonder how my child will do better with spelling or math? How will a teacher educate my child in academics within the parameters of this ridiculous CRT.
