With parents who were in education over 40 years as well as a great deal of friends and family also in education, we find it completely disheartening that what we would hope are competent adults would even suggest such blatant emotional manipulation of children.  

Maybe there should be more talk of morals or ethics.  Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like the school is terribly interested in either of these words or their meanings anymore. We will happily pull our children out of Virginia schools and honestly, maybe it’s just time to move all together. 

Children in the United States have been far behind in learning for many years.  Thank you for thinking of yet another reason to make them fall behind and be withering little followers of twisted agenda that is non-educational or ethical.
