The ready mixed concrete industry produces essential products that support the infrastructure needs of the Commonwealth.  While our industry is committed to the health and safety of our employees, VRMCA opposes adopting a Permanent Standard for Infectious Disease Prevention: SARS-CoV-2 Virus That Causes COVID-19, 16VAC25-220, as we feel that the standard is overly burdensome, costly in both time and money, and lacks the flexibility to adapt to future advances in science and medicine.
