This is not the first time this issue has been brought up in the 36 years that I have been licensed by the state of Virginia to practice Veterinary Technology, and nothing has changed since the last time the motion was defeated.  Catheter placement is still just as invasive as it has ever been, and should not be attempted by those who are not licensed to do so.
