I am a strong supporter of having qualified individuals trained, tested, certified and then licensed by the state contracting board to ensure a uniform certification across all counties/cities with less confusion. Removing the licensing will cause confusion and licensing among the cities/counties again. We need a uniform licensing regulation across the state for backflow prevention licensing.
