Preserve Election Integrity

In order to preserve the integrity of elections, postmarks on absentee ballot envelopes should be present and legible.

I am 70.  I have COVID-19 concerns.  I will, however, vote in person because my vote is that important to me.  We all make choices.

I understand those who want to vote absentee.  You go in person and risk exposure to COVID-19 or vote absentee and possibly have your ballot discarded because of postmark issues.  Choose one or the other.  Life isn't perfect.

We must preserve election integrity.  A postmark is unbiased proof that a ballot was submitted during the legal timeframe for voting, and demonstrates that established rules have been followed.  Keep the legible postmark.
