Landscape Architect serve a vital role in protecting health, safety, and welfare of Virginians. Working on major projects at a variety of scales (urban, infrastructural, and regional), their work directly impacts our health through the design of outdoor environments and our impacts on the ecologies that sustain us. It is imperative that this work, which requires specialized training and experience, is done by qualified professionals. Eliminating regulation of this industry is both backwards and risky.
