The following search criteria was entered for those individuals certified by the Soil Science Society of America.  There are 7 individuals identified within a 300 mile market class group.  By any measure, market participation does not warrant further interest by the Commonwealth.

DPOR BOARD OF  SOIL SCIENTISTS, WETLAND PROFESSIONALS, and GEOLOGISTS have failed to require nor provide a professional code of ethics beginning with licensure in 2012.  Dismantling consumer protection does not appear to be consistent with interests of the state, but rather "the fox guarding the hen house".  During the eight years of licensure, DPOR has no records of having found anyone in violation of The board''s regulation. VaPSS(Virginia Association of Professional Soil Scientists) or VOWRA (Virginia Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association) each have no known records of any soil scientist in breach of association policies.

It would be remiss, to suggest such compliance was only found within soil science.
