Post Mark is a simple, effective, and commonly used process control that should remain

A postmark is a simple way to validate that a ballot was properly submitted.  Every Virginian has easy access to mail their ballot. Having the ballot postmarked by close of business/polls Election Day is a simple way to increase confidence in Virginia’s voting process.  Why wouldn’t we keep the requirement for the ballots to be postmarked showing the ballot was actually cast by a well established and easily understood deadline?  If postmarks are required, I have no objection to allowing til Friday for receipt of the ballot.
