I strongly support the continued regulation of landscape architects in Virginia.  I've been in practice since 1983 and much of my work has required specific skills provided me by my graduate degree and board certification, as well as by professional experience.  The scope of services I've provided include site construction design that directly impacts the health, safety and welfare of both my public and private clients.  This is a service that only a licensed landscape architect can provide.  It's also what makes me a valued member of a multi-disciplined team of engineers and architects who together can best serve public design needs.

Virginia has benefited from the licensure of its design professionals and I ask that this professional regulation continue.
