I support continued regulation and certification of Backflow prevention device workers. Backflow prevention device workers are extremely important in that they help keep our drinking water systems safe. Why in the world would you want to stop regulating and certifying them? If you get rid of the regulations this group of workers follows, along with  the certifications they need, you are opening up public water systems to all sorts of contamination.  Common sense says we need to keep the regulation/certification program for this group of workers.

Clean water is essential to every citizen in Virginia so please, for the health and safety of my family and yours, keep the regulation and certification program in place for the Backflow prevention device workers. I do know that should you get rid of the regulation/certification program for Backflow device workers, I will most definitely be contacting my state representatives to ask why we even need DPOR.
