I have practiced as a Licensed Landscape Architect in Virginia for 20 years and strongly support licensure. Now more than ever Landscape Architects are needed. Licensure  will ensure that those with the title of Landscape Architect have the proper education, training and experience to design and construct critical and necessary public spaces that will not be a danger to public health, safety and welfare.
