Backflow Prevention Device Worker / Professional Testing

Who are these professional backflow prevention device workers?  Let me tell you who we are.  We are professionals that are obligated to remember that a cross connection is an arrangement of piping that could allow undesirable water, sewage, or chemical solutions to enter our drinking water system as a result of backflow.  We are the professionals that ensure that backflow prevention is a matter of protecting the quality and safety of our drinking water.  Backflow prevention helps to ensure that dangerous contaminants such as microorganisms, bacteria, noxious chemicals, metals, gases and other potentially threatening substances do not enter our drinking water systems.  Therefore, removing or changing the current legislation because of financial reasons is far too dangerous.  It is critical from a public health perspective that we protect this piece of legislation and we as professionals should continue to support it, thank you.
