Election integrity is compromised, democracy threatened by non-postmarked ballots after Election Day

Voting ends at 7 pm Election Day.  Absentee ballots must be post-marked by 7 pm on Election Day to be counted.  The Board of Elections cannot alter election law via regulatory action.  The Board of Elections cannot and should not count ballots that have no postmark, an illegible postmark, or a postmark after after 7 pm on Election Day.  Accepting ballots without a postmark invites fraud and destroys the integrity of our democracy.
