Integrity of our 2020 presidential vote

The Board of Elections must not approve the proposed regulation permitting absentee ballots to be delivered to the Office of Elections 2 and 1/2 days AFTER the November 3rd Election Day, with NO PROOF that they had been submitted on or before Election Day!

In the first place, it is questionable whether the Board of Elections has the authority under Virginia law to altar the election law by the proposed regulatory action.

Secondly, Covid-19 need not have disrupted the traditional ways Virginians vote, that is, either in person or by absentee ballot requested by the individual and postmarked and returned by Election Day.  Thus, it was unnecessary for the General Assembly to extend receipt of ballots beyond Election Day.

Third, while the General Assemble and Governor Northam have nevertheless allowed absentee ballots to be postmarked by Election Day and received two and a half days after Election Day, to now further allow ballots which do not even show proof of postmark by Election Day is tantamount to canceling the integrity of the vote in Virginia and is setting up outright fraud.  Fraud undermines the democracy of our country, is unacceptable, and must not be allowed!  There is no justification for this action!
