Absolutely NOT! This proposed regulation change is flat out wrong and the stipulation that NO PROOF is required is absurd. Our election process must be tightly managed and legally protected with proper identification and verification of each and every vote to ensure a legitimate outcome. As in the past, Absentee votes need to be kept at a minimum and carefully processed within current laws and regulations.
Furthermore, Virginia law prohibits the Board of Elections from altering election law by regulatory action.
