My name is Nick Burgess and I live in the Harrisonburg, Va. area. I write this comment in strong support of the continued regulation of the interior design profession in Virginia. As a contractor it is imperative that we continue to regulate our professions in order to keep a baseline of quality and to provide a sense of security when hiring new contractors. By deregulating  any profession you are taking away job opportunities and advancements from those who have worked the hardest at their profession.
