I am writing in support of the new regulation allowing concealed carry in state forests.  (I would also like to see open carry allowed.)  In either case, this regulatory change is consistent with similar ones for state parks and other public places in Virginia, and it allows citizens their natural right to defend themselves from harm in these often-remote places.  I would welcome the additional security that this regulation would allow me when I visit the state forests.
