The Virginia REALTORS® Association strongly supports the continued regulation of CIC managers. CIC managers have fiduciary duties to their clients including making legal, business, and financial decisions on behalf of the community. They are also responsible for the management and oversight of association funds. Continued regulation by DPOR helps to ensure that these duties and responsibilities are carried out legally and professionally while protecting the public interest and communities that rely on these managers.
