I am Michelle Thomas, IIDA  and I am licensed Interior Designer in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC.  I own my business that specializes in Hospitality, Higher Education, and Commercial design.  We are located in Alexandria, VA.  The Virginia Certification is very important as it is recognized and regarded as important qualification in order to receive RFP's for work or teaming with other Architectural companies for Small, Women and Minority Owned Business requirements by State and Federal type projects in which MDS is a certified WBE, SWaM, MBE company.  I support to continue Regulation of Interior Design in Virginia.
