I was recently very ill and had to be tested for COVID-19. My job would not let me come to work, but also had no plan as to how the situation should be treated.  I was given no options or leeway on the time I would miss for days.  I was left to worry over not just the loss of income but the possibility of being penalized for missing time the company forced me to take.  This is not an acceptable way for employees to be treated.  Companies need to be given guidelines for how to handle this situation. Some form of standard practice would be most beneficial.
