Masks should be required in public spaces. While vulnerable populations should stay home as much as possible, sometimes going out in public (to get medicine, groceries, etc.) is unavoidable. Wearing a mask is a small inconvenience but has been proven to reduce the transmission of the virus. You may be an infected carrier while asymptomatic or presymptomatic; it is worth the minor annoyance to potentially save the lives of our friends and neighbors.
