protect teachers, students, and other staff members

Due to the fact that there is no reliable testing method and that temperature checks won't catch an asymptomatic staff or student, who could then come in to the building and infect others, who would then go home and spread it around, all school should be taught virtually until there's a vaccine or some other effective treatment. Virtual teaching should be mandatory and all teachers should be properly trained on how to teach virtually.

Social distancing can also be very difficult in classrooms that have desks instead of tables. How do you keep students from touching each other? How do young students get exercise if they can't go outside? If school is in person, masks should be mandatory for those that choose to attend in person but how do you keep a young child from playing with their mask? How do you have enough staff to teach AND monitor students in the bathroom? How will there be enough staff to disinfect each bathroom after each student uses it? Anyone who is an essential worker or has to go to work and has a child under 12 or any other child who can't be left alone should be provided with a safe space for their child to get their education. This may be unrealistic, but I don't know of any options that would protect everyone.
