I am a general dentist in Purcellville, Virginia.  I support the Virginia Dental Association's letter and position for request for exemption from the proposed emergency regulations.  Dentists and oral surgeons have adequately restocked their PPE supplies and have implemented social distancing measures to reduce the spread of the virus in dental offices.  The profession is doing all things necessary outlined and defined by the CDC to prevent, control, and mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 virus.  Additionally, unnecessary further reporting and documentation added to dental offices is inappropriate.
