As a teacher, I would not accept that we have to be in schools with hundreds (elem) or thousands (high school) of students without wearing masks. However, that is NOT realistic. No child will wear a mask for 6 and 1/2 hours; or even half that amount AND socially distance all day. Children cough, sneeze, put their hands all over their faces and on each other. The safest course of action is distance learning. The safest course of action for the general public is mask wearing and continued social distancing. Who wants to die or get extremely sick with COVID? Not me. Two if my dad's friends died and one of my friend's has been sick for months. Not what I want for me or anyone.
