As of today, June 22nd, there have been approximately 1600 deaths related to Covid-19 out of a population of 8.5 million statewide.  Assuming the numbers are accurate, the risk of mortality is minuscule and does not justify the governor’s overreach into personal choice regarding one’s own health.  New cases will always be “discovered” with the push for testing and won’t reflect that the majority of those found positive never even knew they contracted the virus.  The state of emergency should be rescinded immediately so that Virginians can return to their REAL normal lives and get the Commonwealth back up and running.
