Why are we worried about mandating masks when the “peak” has been over for quite some time and our numbers are continuing to decline? As a healthcare worker, it is frustrating to see such inappropriate use of masks. Very few people are wearing the correctly and fewer than that are putting them on/taking them off in a way that would keep them from contaminating themselves. If people want to use masks to make themselves feel better that’s fine, but give US the choice to decide whether they should be worn or not.
