No to mandatory mask

Wearing a mask should not be mandatory. It has not been proven to me, as a retired medical professional, that wearing a mask is a definitive answer to stop COVID 19 from spreading. Social distancing is a much easier concept for lay people to understand and you will get more to comply with that method than wearing a mask. Our bodies need to build up immunities to stop the spread or lessen the virus. That is why we give our children vaccines, booster injections, and require people traveling out of the country to have up to date vaccines.
