To the Safety and Health Codes Board,

My name is Marisa Paipongna and I am a legal resident of VA. I am writing to ask you to please pass the plan to encourage all businesses to create a COVID protection plan that goes beyond providing face masks and OSHA guidance. Providing face masks is critical, however, providing the safe environments in which all employees wearing those face masks have the ability to take the necessary precautions and keep themselves (and their families) safe is incredibly important. These employees have the right to be safe and keep their families and communities safe while working during a pandemic. Requiring businesses to create action plans to keep their employees safe is ultimately a commitment to keeping all VA residents safe.
