Masks should be mandatory to protect workers during this continuing time of a global pandemic that is currently only still ravaging the US. Not nearly enough has been done on both a federal and state/local level to protect essential workers and now we have the masses demanding a revocation of the mask mandate? Absolutely not. The masks are the BARE MINIMUM we all can do to reduce the spread of COVID-19. If you’re reading this, no you’re not going to get sick from wearing a mask, no matter how loudly Rush Limbaugh screams the opposite over the radio. To both the politicians and the people who oppose this mandate: stop creating your own reality for yourself. COVID-19 is real, and if we don’t take precautions to prevent the spread then tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands more will die.
