No school openings until we have a vaccine

Please don’t endanger the lives of teachers and students by opening schools.  Our lives are not disposable.  It’s not safe for us to return to school until a vaccine is developed.  We don’t know enough about how to treat and prevent Covid, the only thing we know that is preventing the spread of Covid is social distancing.  As anyone who has ever met or worked with children before knows, children have no concept of personal space.  Most aren’t able to wipe or blow their noses independently.  As a teacher I love my students, but I am not ready to die for them nor should I be asked to.
