CDC Guidelines are a MUST

For the protection of our students, school staff, and community as a whole, following the recommended CDC guidelines should be mandatory and a no-brainer as we discuss reopening schools. While many students may be considered low-risk, students with special needs or medical conditions are at much higher risk, and their health needs to be considered equally. Further, requiring teachers to teach in schools where all precautionary health steps are not being taken is disrespectful of their health and the health of their families. Having the option for clear face shields is a reasonable alternative for students and staff so that faces can be seen to limit fears or anxieties, they can stay on easily, and can be cleaned easily/thoroughly.
